CAPES PrInt Program Now Open
CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior), has launched the CAPES/PrInt program to replace the Ciências Sem Fronteiras (“Sciences without Borders”) initiative, which will provide R$ 300,000,000 (three hundred million reals) annually to support internationalization projects focused on research at Brazilian institutions.
To apply for financial support, Brazilian universities must demonstrate a clear commitment to internationalizing through strategies and initiatives in collaboration with foreign partners.
CBIE is encouraging all of its members to reach out to their Brazilian partners to reignite discussions on modalities of collaboration. To assist, the Canadian Trade Commission has identified the 50 highest ranked Brazilian institutions for research that best match the prerequisites of this new program.
CAPES/PrInt will fund up to 40 projects this year. Find more details here.
If you would like CBIE’s assistance in connecting with Brazilian institutions please contact Melissa Payne at [email protected].
Deadline for proposal submissions to CAPES: 18 April 2018
