CBIE expresses its concern over the violence and the harsh crackdown on peaceful protests of students and scholars at education institutions across Iran arising in response to the tragic death of Mahsa Amini.
We stand in solidarity with the women of Iran who boldly stand up to protect human rights and fight for an end to gender-based discrimination and violence. Through our international capacity-building programming and partnership-building initiatives, CBIE will continue to actively engage in work that champions the economic, social and political empowerment of women and girls.
