International Partnership Missions

CBIE leverages its unique position and international network to offer its members exclusive opportunities to develop new and nurture existing partnerships in priority countries around the world. Through these partnership missions, CBIE connects its members to international governments, higher education institutions, education associations, K-12 schools (both locally operated and Canadian off-shore), as well as relevant international and locally-based non-governmental organizations and policy think tanks operating within the education sphere.

CBIE will lead a collaboration mission to Spain with a select number of member institutions, which will include participation in the EAIE 2022 conference. The theme for EAIE 2022 is ‘’The future in full colour’’.

This dual-purpose mission aims to explore and expand opportunities for the Canadian international education sector in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) and Türkiye (through a dedicated Canada-Türkiye Forum at EAIE 2022).

Funding will be available to help offset travel costs for a select number of CBIE member institutions, thanks to CanExport Associations. Details to follow.

Opportunities at CBIE Annual Conference

The CBIE annual conference is the space for international education professionals from Canada and around the world to learn, be inspired and connect. The conference is a must-attend event for all international stakeholders interested in establishing or enhancing partnership opportunities with Canadian institutions. CBIE members attending the conference can engage in conversation to build new or deeper relationships with international delegations from around the globe.

For over 50 years, CBIE has designed and implemented technical training and capacity building programs that catalyze systematic change. Drawing on expertise from our local partners, member institutions and longstanding governmental, business and civil society collaborators, CBIE has deep expertise in the areas of governance, civil society development, educational reform, social innovation, and women’s empowerment.
