About This Event
In June, Conestoga College and the University of Waterloo are hosting CBIE’s 2025 Ontario Regional Meeting in Waterloo. This event will focus on the future of international education through a series of sessions, roundtables and networking activities.
CBIE’s Ontario Regional Meeting is an annual gathering of international education practitioners. It is an opportunity to share knowledge and resources and keep abreast of immigration and other changes in the sector. It also serves as an annual networking event for international education practitioners and is a precursor to the national conference held each November.

As institutions navigate changing political, economic, and social dynamics, this event will showcase innovative strategies for diversifying opportunities for international students and enriching their experiences.
With a focus on creative solutions and practical insights, we will explore how institutions can foster global engagement, broaden access, and successfully navigate the challenges of an ever-changing environment.
