– “The value of any online program should be measured by what learners end up doing offline, together, in real life (not by how much time they spend on the computer).” – Hosni Zaouali
Faced with the uncertainty caused by COVID-19, thousands of schools, universities and businesses are asking their employees, students, pupils and teachers to work or study from home. They will then rush to provide “content” and alternative tech tools without much synergy.
They will soon realize that this is less about technology (or even content), but more about design. “Education by design” should be at the centre of any online program. Digging deeper into the emotional aspect of the learner (whether he/she is a kid or an adult) is at the core of a good learning experience.
A.I (Artificial Intelligence) will also play a critical role in education. Many experts are comparing it to the invention of electricity in the 1800s.
