Universities and colleges must manage travel-related risks to meet their duty of care and ensure the health and safety of individuals (students, faculty members, administrative staff, etc.).
This Aléas training series will offer insight into the legal obligations of Canadian organizations in relation to the health and safety of travellers. This program is based on three essential elements to be integrated into one’s risk management strategy to demonstrate due diligence.
NOTE: To deepen your knowledge and learn about best practices to manage travel risks, we recommend registering for the six-week online course Campus Aléas – International Mobility Risk Management; A Look at your Practices.
This training is intended for all individuals within an organization whose role requires them to make decisions or be involved in travel-related operations.
This training will be delivered in three asynchronous video capsules. Participants are encouraged to view one video per week, as per the schedule listed below, and complete the required activities/homework. The live webinar on February 28th will build upon the asynchronous activities to deepen the knowledge and learning. Please note that the session on February 28th will NOT be recorded, and thus attendance at this live session is required.
