Ottawa, June 8, 2016: In celebration of its 50th year, CBIE is pleased to launch a new website. A key feature is a congratulatory message from CBIE’s Patron, the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada.
“This website proudly showcases our history and the richness of our work in international education over the past half century,” said Karen McBride, President and CEO of CBIE. “But it looks ahead too: the modern and fully responsive design is like CBIE itself – poised to make significant contributions to international education in the next 50 years.”
The compelling imagery and dynamic content effectively promotes CBIE’s range of projects, programs and events. At the same time it facilitates future online learning for its members including the International Students and Immigration Education Program. Top of mind in the redesign was to enhance navigability and accessibility for all visitors.
In addition to the commemorative 50th anniversary logo, the website launches a new tagline, “learning beyond borders“, and a refresh of CBIE’s brand colours and fonts all intended to leverage the trust in the existing brand but with an eye to the future.
CBIE welcomes your feedback to help us continuously refine and improve our new website using the feedback tab on the homepage.
