January 18, 2024 – The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. Canadian post-secondary institutions must apply online on behalf of eligible candidates.
Global Affairs Canada is offering scholarships for students from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to conduct short-term study or research in Canadian post-secondary institutions in areas that contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. SEED contributes to strengthening people-to-people ties between Canada and the Indo-Pacific region. As part of the expansion of the SEED program under Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy, Global Affairs Canada is increasing the number of scholarships that it will be awarding to students from the ASEAN region.
