Transnational Education (TNE) Today: Learning from Our Global Partners

14 août @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

Watch Recording

Description

Join CBIE’s International Relations Professional Learning Community (IR-PLC) for a special panel discussion as they explore Transnational Education (TNE). This event will feature the expert voices of global leaders from the U.K. and India, who are innovating and actively engaged in TNE today. This is a unique opportunity for Canadian institutions to learn from their international partners and discover how they are successfully implementing transnational education in their institutions.

Transnational education (TNE) refers to study programs or educational services in which the learners are located in a country different from the one where the awarding institution is based (UNESCO/Council of Europe 2001). This can include activities such as joint or dual degree programs, pathway programs, curriculum licensing, co-teaching, franchising and remote or off-shore campuses.

This event is intended for those in international relations and global engagement offices within institutions, that are focused on strategic partnership development, including academic, research and study abroad.
