La formation Pro-EI fournit des informations fondamentales sur le secteur de l’éducation internationale et propose des ressources et des outils pratiques pour aider les apprenant.e.s à faire leurs premiers pas dans le domaine. Cette formation en ligne, facilement accessible, permet aux participant.e.s de s’y engager au moment qui leur convient et d’apprendre à leur propre rythme. Les concepts de base présentés dans Pro-EI constituent un point de départ pour comprendre les notions clés, les rôles et les pratiques du secteur, tout en préparant les apprenant.e.s à suivre des formations plus avancées et en soutenant un parcours clair de développement professionnel en éducation internationale.
Ces cours sont ouverts à tous les praticien.ne.s et sont également des prérequis pour certains candidat.e.s du Programme d’études sur l’immigration et les étudiant.e.s internationaux.ales (PEIEI) qui ne travaillent pas dans un établissement d’enseignement désigné (EED) tout en œuvrant auprès des étudiant.e.s internationaux.ales. Les cours préalables sont présentement disponibles en anglais et seront offerts en français à partir de l’automne 2026. Fundamentals of International Education in Canada
This self-directed online training introduces learners to the fundamentals of the Canadian education system along with the key ministries, organizations, and associations that influence both domestic and international education. Drawing on a combination of historical context and contemporary perspectives, participants will explore how Canada’s international education sector has evolved and continues to contribute to global engagement. By the end of the course, learners will understand the structure of education in Canada, recognize the major players influencing policy and practice, and appreciate the historical roots that shape today’s international education landscape.

Internationalization in Action
This self-directed online training introduces foundational concepts and practical applications of comprehensive internationalization in higher education. Learners will review definitions, rationales, and models to explore various factors that drive institutions’ pursuit of internationalization, as well as the challenges and opportunities that can arise. By the end of the training, learners will have gained practical tools to connect theory to action and identified strategic goals, key collaborators, and common interests that support inclusive, ethical, and sustainable approaches to embedding internationalization across institutional priorities.
