Opportunities
Professional Learning Communities
Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) bring members together in facilitated peer groups to exchange knowledge, explore shared challenges, and advance practice in key areas of international education, offering a valuable space to connect, collaborate, and learn from peers across the sector. Participation in a PLC typically requires a time commitment of approximately 4 to 10 hours per month, depending on the focus and activities of the group.
The application process will open in the fall.
Immigration Advisory Committee (IAC)
The Immigration Advisory Committee (IAC) brings together sector experts to provide strategic advice on immigration issues impacting international education, contributing insights that inform CBIE’s initiatives and engagement with stakeholders.
The application process will open in the spring of 2027.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is composed of committed senior leaders whose knowledge of international education makes a strong contribution to CBIE’s governance and strategic direction.
CBIE strives for a Board that is balanced, diverse, and inclusive, and that incorporates a strong range of skills, experiences, and perspectives to advance the organization’s mission.
