About the Online Leadership Certificate Program

The Online Leadership Certificate Program was delivered between June and September 2021 as part of the extension activities of the African Leaders of Tomorrow (ALT) Extension Program for 2021. The program was co-developed by the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) and the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM). As a professional development program, it equipped learners with practical leadership skills and connected participants with leading experts from Africa and Canada working in the field of Public Administration, Public Policy and Public Finance.

This program was funded by the Government of Canada, through Global Affairs Canada, and the Mastercard Foundation. The recordings of the weekly modules (in English and in French) as well as biographies of speakers are being made available to the general public to leverage the positive impact this program had on so many young African leaders now working in the public sector on their continent.

Please note that this program is now closed and new certificates will not be issued.
