DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text] \nRegistration Deadline: February 20\, 2024\n\nAPAIE2024\nPerth\, Australia | March 4-8\, 2024\nOverview\nCBIE\, jointly with the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)\, is organizing a Canada-Philippine Partnership Event on the margins of the APAIE2024 Annual Conference at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Perth\, Australia. \nThe event will bring together senior education sector leaders from Canada and the Philippines for roundtable discussions and B2B networking opportunities. \nOpportunities\nParticipation in the planned activities will offer the following opportunities for participating CBIE members: \n\nContributing to the development of thematic priorities and a joint action plan for educational collaboration between Canada and the Philippines for 2024-2025.\nExposure to the latest educational partnership opportunities in the Philippines\nCreation of new relationships in the Philippines or building on existing ones\nShowcasing Canadian expertise and eagerness to establish strong international partnerships\n\nThe full list of event participants (Filipino and Canadian) will be shared in advance of the event. \nTerms and conditions\nParticipation \nMore than one person per institution can attend the event; however\, the primary target is the senior representative with the authority to negotiate partnership agreements. A second institutional representative may be able to attend\, depending on space availability. \nRegistration \nThere is no registration fee. \nCanadian and Filipino institutions interested in participating in the mission need to register under this link: https://surveys.cbie.ca/s3/Canada-Phillipine-Partnership-Event-APAIE2024 \nRegistration will remain open until February 20\, 2024. After the registration closes\, we will confirm all registrants and communicate more information (including updates on space availability for second institutional representatives). \nCanExport Support \nCBIE member institutions may be eligible to access funding through the CanExport Associations program of Global Affairs Canada to help offset travel costs. Only one person per institution can qualify for this funding.
