Clark was educated in French and English and attended the universities of Toronto and Oxford prior to joining the Canadian Foreign Service in 1989. He has held various positions at headquarter, including: Director of Mexico and North America; Director of Media Relations; and Director General and then Acting Assistant Deputy Minister of Human Resources. He was also Legislative Assistant to two Ministers of Foreign Affairs (1993-1995) and to the Prime Minister of Canada (1995-1997). Abroad he began his career as Second Secretary and Vice-Consul in San Jos\u00e9, Costa Rica (with cross-accreditation to Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama); served as Ambassador to Peru and Bolivia (1997-2001); as Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (2006-2010); and as Minister, Deputy Head of Mission in France (2014-2019). He spent 7 years working in different positions at headquarters of international organizations such as The World Bank, the Pan-American Health Organization and the UNICEF in the areas of communication for health emergencies and vaccination. He also \u00a0completed the Master in Education at Universidad de Monterrey. He holds certificates in international education from the University of Minnesota and in strategic planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been a member of the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI) since 1997 and participated on its board of directors from 2000 to 2013. From 2009 to 2011 he served as the president of AMPEI. In 2015 he was awarded the Premio AMPEI in recognition of his contributions to the internationalization of higher education in Mexico. He is also the representative of the Government of Aguascalientes in Mexico City, and has served in Partido Acci\u00f3n Nacional, and as an advisor of the Presidency of C\u00e1mara de Diputados and Senado de la Rep\u00fablica. Emmanuel has a degree in Law from the Universidad Panamericana, where he is currently pursuing a degree in Philosophy. Emmanuel has practiced law in a number of different law firms, and is a founder of the SOLE\u00c9 law firm. She works as an economics professor and a leader in applied business research in social innovation at Red River College, one of the largest polytechnic institutes in Canada. Tatjana also acts as an entrepreneurship coach in MBA program at HEC Paris, UNEP consultant and a strategist behind the Square Metre for Peace. Her passion is finding ways to profitably implement social innovation in business and community in order to transform the society on a global scale. Tatjana\u2019s experience includes developing a business intelligence unit at Manitoba Telecom, creating a global knowledge network about sustainability in business at the International Institute for Sustainable Development, and ergonomics work at Volkswagen. Born in Campeche, Mexico, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Commerce at the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Aut\u00f3nomo de Mexico and both a master\u2019s degree in Political Science and doctorate degree in Business and Political Science at the University of Calgary in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1rquez returned to Mexico as dean and department head at the Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey (ITESM) business school in Mexico City where he managed a custom-designed executive education program for CEMEX, delivered through a partnership between ITESM, Stanford University and INSEAD.<\/p>\n<p>In 2007 he joined Royal Roads University as dean of the Faculty of Management and was appointed Vice-President in 2015. Pedro has co-authored book chapters and journal articles on NAFTA, focusing on ideas around founder centrality, comparative attitudes towards business ethical dilemmas and teaching entrepreneurship. His research is focused on corporate accountability, Latin American politics and business, Mexico\u2019s business environment and NAFTA. He has taken courses in leadership and management at Harvard University and McGill University.<\/p>\n<p>He has accumulated 20 years of management experience in three distinct organizations including the IOHE, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and UNESCO where he has been responsible for developing inter-governmental partnerships and different capacity building programs.<\/p>\n<p>He has taught at the Confucius Institute in Montreal, University of Sherbrooke, Marie-Victorin College and Kaifeng University (China).
