She counts on more than fifteen years in the field of internationalization of higher education\, working in different countries and institutions. Through diverse roles\, she has conducted large projects to encourage universities’ international expansion\, fostered collaboration with organizations from Quebec\, Canada and abroad and gained an in-depth understanding of the issues and challenges related to universities’ international development. She holds an MA in intercultural and international communication from Royal Roads University. Andrea has over 15 years of experience working in post-secondary education. \nThis includes University of Calgary\, regional manager (Asia Pacific) and associate faculty member at Royal Roads University and Mount Royal University (Faculty of Communication). Throughout her career Andrea has been active in the international education realm sitting on various committees and currently sits on the steering committee for the Canadian Bureau for International Education’s international relations professional learning community.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row class=”facilitator-row”][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text] \nSuhair Deeb\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Coordinator\, International Agreements & Faculty Engagement[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Ryerson University [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Suhair joined Ryerson International in 2003. She is responsible for providing advice on various student international programing models and the development of university-wide agreements with international institutions. Suhair liaises among faculty/staff\, partner institutions and various internal and external stakeholders to support partnership development. \nPreviously\, Suhair held various positions in the area of Canadian immigration with the Government of Canada and immigration law and consultancy firms. Suhair obtained a MSc. In International Business and Management from the UK and a MA in Immigration and Settlement Studies from Ryerson University. She speaks Arabic\, French and some Spanish.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
