As part of this year’s 50th Annual Conference, the Canadian Bureau for International Education, in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada, will host a Canada – Sub-Saharan Africa Partners Roundtable.
The Roundtable will bring together Canadian and African stakeholders from academia, civil society and the public and private spheres, with the goal of facilitating dialogue and identifying priority needs and investments in specific areas of the education sector. Through moderated discussions, the Roundtable will host three breakout sessions on the following themes:
Theme 1 – Quality Education for All: Supporting the Advancement of Basic Education in Sub-Saharan Africa
Theme 2 – Technical and Vocational Education and Training: Cultivating Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship
Theme 3 – Shaping African Leaders of Tomorrow: Building Sustainable, Professional Capacity for Long-Term Growth
