Workshop: Immigration Advising for International Students and their Spouses and Families

This workshop will engage participants in a review of existing policies and recent IRCC updates related to the international student program for students and their dependents. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss various case studies and share institutional responses through interactive group work. The workshop has been approved for 3 hours of CPD for RCICs and RISIAs.

Who should participate?
Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) should take this course as part of continuing professional development (CPD). This course is also open to professionals interested in learning more about Canadian immigration policy as it related to international student and how real life situations interact with high-level regulators.
Fee includes: Half-day workshop, workshop materials and coffee/tea break
- Registration will be open until May 17; however a minimum number of registrations must be met by May 10 to ensure the course is offered.
- The professional development workshop will be held at the Western Regional Meeting, however participants may attend the workshop only.
